TransPerfect Sponsors Bootcamp on the eTMF

TransPerfect Trial Interactive sponsored the CBI eTMF boot camp in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania May 19 – 20, 2011.

The conference covered a range of topics related to the various procedures involved in transferring to an electronically hosted trial environment.  Andy Fisher from the MHRA indicated his support for eTMFs, while the various case studies and presentations demonstrated the many advantages of hosting trial documents electronically.

One of the most prominent challenges highlighted at the conference was the difficulty of coordinating translation with eTMFs.  TransPerfect Trial Interactive has developed an optional translation module, which is designed to dramatically reduce the inefficiencies associated with conducting multilingual studies. Trial Interactive has been utilized by multiple sponsors and CROs, in order to conduct global clinical trials more efficiently in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment.
